Receptive Sign Language Skills at 17 months old

This is my son (FatBaby) who loves to watch the Signing Time DVDs. (www.signingtime.com) This video was taken in Feb 08 when he was 17 months old. You’ll see me sign something, and he says what it is. (Trust me, he’s getting them right – even though nobody can understand babytalk quite like mom can!) but even for 17 months old, the fact that he can SAY all these words is pretty remarkable, let alone recognize what is being signed to him. He does sign the words himself, too, just not in this video. And don’t knock his crazy hair!
